Brilliant Ben ! What a way to end the season ! I don't see anything stockie about it from the photo (apart from the size) - rather I think you just proved my theory - the trout from our waters are getting bigger ! Cheers Roy

Now Yeoman that's just showing off! But seriously that's a fabulous fish, excited about next season already and only 5 1/2 months to go. I've fished mostly on the Taw this year, average size has been 6" to 7" for me,but enjoyed every minute, must make more time for the Yeo / Creedy next season by the looks of it. Never even got to fish the three horseshoes section, is it going to be open for Grayling again this year? Chris

Last day of the season and I always like to fish a club water, especially as I haven't got on them much this season. 3 horseshoes it was, and I found a few risers, starting off with a nice fish around 12 inches. The next pool also had a few risers, and a rather off the mark cast prompted this fellow to come bulldozing across from a couple of feet away.... Just under 17 inches and something of the stockie about it, although its fins were sharp? Anyhow, carried on up and had several more mint little browns, all nice and fat from a summers feeding. Roll on next season. Where is the 3 Horseshoes section? I've looked on the beat maps but can't seem to see it.
