Out walking the dog this morning and took a few shots of the Yeo above Yeoford. Looked like it had dropped a fair bit from yesterday. This is where the Troney joins the Yeo. The view downstream This is the Troney under the railway bridge, this normally only flows on the left hand side but one year I did see it nearly up to the foot bridge. Can we go home now please! I think I'm going to wait until next weekend and pretend that's the start of the season.

Yeah... rivers blown for a few days... hoping the snow overnight isn’t too bad so I can fish Thursday... but not overly hopeful

More of this Means a chance for more of this Inspired by an article in ESF ( keeping it simple by Keith Passant issue 23 ) Some simple but hopefully effective spider patterns to practice my upstream wet fly technique with when the trout on the moor won't look up for a dry.

Partridge & Orange, one of my all time favourites and a really good tie Halfstoned. Not seen this amount of snow for years, will be glad to see the back of it. Can't check my fly boxs any more as they are the same as they were yesterday. Five days into the season and yet to wet a line😫

Lovely pictures halfstoned!
Terry, made me laugh out loud about the fly boxes, I'm feeling your pain. Work was due to start for me on Sunday, perfect timing!
