Nice one Pete! I'm determined to get some trouty shots this season,as i'm generally very slack in the camera department. Love looking at everyone else's,though. Here's one from France last year to get the ball rolling. Attachments:

I haven't gone fishing for quite some time now. Seeing those photos made me miss fishing even more. I've really got to find some time soon. Nice photos Pete . Thanks for sharing.

Caught this chap from a private-ish (not mine sadly) stretch of the Okement just below the town. I might be alone here, but I spent a lot of my childhood reading old fishing books and there would always be a trout that took a bit of catching. This one flirted with me on a few previous occasions, but either refused or I missed or some combination of the two. It takes about ten minutes to get quietly into a position to cast to him from, and screwing up blows the whole operation, so I was pleased to finally get a close up. Then released of course, because that's all part of the madness.

Hi Jim,
Not sure if you used photobucket (or something similar) but can't see the fish and would love to!

Glossing over my previous ImageShack related failure... how about this beauty from the WD in the DNP on a black klink. Caught a few from the pool but this was by far the best of them, and my best of the season so far I reckon.

That's a lovely fish Jimmy well done. I'm done Devon way in just over a week and plan to fish the Dart system again. It's amazing how different the colours on trout can be from one river to the next. Perfect camouflage on this one for the peaty waters of the Dart. Mark

A "dark water" fish indeed. Lovely - and rather a grand chap for the West Dart.

Thanks guys, I was pretty pleased to find him among his smaller brothers.
Also, if you ever fancy linking up on Dartmoor for a bit of fishing then I'm usually out at least one day every weekend.
