Fishing has been difficult due to unseasonable high water. Halfway through the trip and there has been a mixture of fortunes for our group of four. Kim , who is on this forum , caught a bright 12lb salmon after only four casts using a bomber for the first time. He is obviously dead chuffed. Also caught on the bomber were two grilse and a 6lb sea trout. A 12kilo salmon also caught on a red Francis. To modest to say who by. Second half of the trip starts tomorrow .
