We have had a productive weekend here in the Pusser household.
Today i've made the game terrine for our Xmas starter, Mrs P has prepped a game pie and a couple of quiches, along with making some Damson Jelly (and i've managed to tie a few flies up).
I've also cured and cold smoked 4 sides of salmon and few kilos of cheese ready for people to buy for Xmas ... and we went shopping on Friday to Exeter.
And now i'm just about to go and get my kit ready for a day on the river tomorrow.
Anyone else getting ahead of the game for Xmas?

Spent this morning on the golf course and this afternoon sorting the cars out, (winter maintenance), before drying my kit out from yesterdays casting and tuition day at Exe Valley Fishery ran by Nick Hart and Pete T. It was an excellent day.
This afternoon was spent sorting the house out and putting up the Xmas decorations.
Next weekend I hope to be on the Wilts Avon while my wife goes shopping before my daughters get home from Uni. Hope to get a out a few times over the Xmas break to try my new Daiwa Lexa Nymph special out, which will be this years Xmas pressie. Just need to buy a couple of more pressies for the wife and hopefully everything will be sorted for a quiet break as we're having Xmas at home instead of visiting family in the North East. looking forward to it.
