Nice one Paul, is it from that river?
I was down there with Lewis last week. He did a little light pruning on a really nice spot where we saw a huge grayling. It should be clear to have a pop at it next time!

It was a great day. This was about the average size there were quite a few bigger caught that day.I lost count in the end. Im off to a tributary of the Tamar soon where there are some real monsters.

We had some great grayling from the Exe last year. They seem very difficult to find, but were about in good numbers last years. Not found so many this year

Lovely fish- would have graced one of you wiltshire streams or Mo's welsh alternatives!
But as age sets in, memory fades , or as eyes grow dim, focus is lost.
So, just an impression, but I remember grayling as having small, mail armour scales, whereas that undoubted grayling has scales worthy of a 15lb carp- or am I- as usual, mistaken?

Hi Paul, Think you probably know exactly the spot where this one came from! I think all is in proportion scalewise and although not carp sized it was a nice fish! I've popped another one from the same stream last year as a comparison
