Looks a perfect picture Billyfish and something I hope to aim for. Kev, I know what you mean about empty house when a dog goes. The old retriever in my avatar lasted until he was17 and I lost him 4 years ago but and am now ready to take another on again. I'l be seeing my boy on Sat for a quick visit.

It's that empty house thing that made us resolve to always have two... post us a pic of the newbie, I need something to cheer me up when I'm sat at my desk working on a glorious may day! (OK I know I'm on the forum, but just spent a few hours writing a technical article and needed a break)...

Thanks pusser, I am so excited about him. He is only 4 weeks old and we do get him until mid June but because he is local we visit him every week so far. I can't believe how quickly he is growing. Last week his eyes had just opened and he was pulling himself along on his front legs but now he runs round for 10 mins and then goes to sleep for a bit!

View AttachmentMy old springer ,"Bruno" , a legend in my area . Sadly no longer here he went everywhere with me. This year I hope to get Lola out in the boat with me. Colin. Ha Ha I use to love it when you got down low in the boat and Bruno looked like he was in control of the boat as you sailed past the beach, you did get some funny looks. Pete

Unfortunately it has become a little to difficult the excitement of fishing takes my dog off the scale, he wants to chase the lure and then eat the fish.

Yes, I saw how the teeth have grown already although, at the the moment, he doesn't seem a nipper but ran up and gave the camera lens a good lick!
He should be with us in a couple of weeks

Yes it is. How did this happen ? I look forward, with a little embarrassment , for an explanation of this phenomenon . Colin.

Yes it is. How did this happen ? I look forward, with a little embarrassment , for an explanation of this phenomenon . Colin. You hadn't got the URL of the image in the [ im.g ] tags correctly. The URL was there, which is how I managed to see the picture and post it for you. the URL needs to be in between the [ im.g ] and the [/img] tag (this is the 'code' that the software uses to place objects on the page. It would have ben something you did when you clicked the image button and pasted the text in there. (note, the dots are in the [im.g] examples here as the software wants to read the normal tag)
