I have always had difficulty with this technology, but many moons ago, Andy (barlebanker) posted an explanation which I managed to follow and get to work!
Go to 'search' put in 'photo bucket' then 'posting' and 'img' and it should come up. Its called "An idiots guide to posting"

Apologies for my absence from the thread / forum... aside from the usual work excuses - dog is the reason. Misdiagnosis from one vet, self diagnosed and referred to another vet, confirmed bilateral cruciate damage. All getting fixed thank God, but it ain't cheap. Insurance will take a while as have to complete treatment before claim, and running total is exceeding the £7K ceiling for a single condition... I'll mostly be very occasionally fishing association water and eating 'taters for the next few months! See y'all for the grayling ;-) (Told her not to let her dog get away with chasing rabbits... if it had stopped at the first command...)

Good step in his forehead, he'll be a good looking boy! Mine has decided to revert back to three months ago with her training since I've stepped it up and got a bit further. I had completely under estimated what "strong prey drive" and "willful" meant until I tried to stop her chasing swallows for an hour this weekend. that's after weeks of hold and recall training too. I'm sure your lab will be much better than my german pointer!

I'm going to do my best Toby. He had a good first night and I took him out for a wander first thing this morning to do his business but nothing happened, I say nothing happened, that was until he came inside and took a massive dump! Think I have his show sussed when he needs to go now.
We've done some basic commands already and he is doing really well. Early days though!

Hi Pete You should have got one of these, great fishing buddy and you have no problem with poachers when they grow up! Credits go to Charlie Russell - Grizzly Heart, a great read on how to live with nature. Mo Attachments:

Well, Montana is just over 3 months old and is doing really well. He seems to be a really chilled dog who loves to do training and even comes back when we take him out. Whenever I am fishing I think if the location would work and I could bring him along and have built up a few places now. I can't wait to have him out on the river with me!

Yesterday was the first time I had the german pointer with me wading. The river doesn't go far up my thigh in the deepest hole and my other dogs were being walked along the bank so I thought I'd give it a go! If you want to see how she dealt with the first encounter with a perch have a look at the vid, just copy the address below, I'm not sure if you can embed? highlight it then right click and choose go to... She's 10 months and I'm now about confident she'll stick to heel to bring her out, so much fun having her with me!

Lovely and I bet a special moment, I guess the dachshund wasn't next to Bindi?!
I am hoping to try and get Monty out on a trout stream before the end of the season, he's been salmon fishing and enjoyed it until he realised he gone a little too deep.
I'll post some pics up later.

Ok so my dog looks a bit 'catty'. Never stopped him behaving like a dog.
