Looking on the Westcountry Passport Scheme website the Avon has been removed and is now private. Such a shame because it was such a lovely bit of trout water that I've also seen a number of migratory fish going through, I'll really miss it in the summer. I always had half a hope a sea trout might grab one of my lies for the little brownies in there.

The south devon Avon that comes to the sea at big bury. It passes through South Brent and Avonwick

There are still visitors tickets available from the website of Avon angling association though it appears only for a week at a time
