Last year, in December, I went to Mexico bonefishing. It was a mind-blowing experience. I have been vacillating wildly- something I do very well as Pete will aver- as to whether to go on another fishing trip this year or not. As if one prevarication was not enoug, I have also been undecided if I do as to whether to go back to Mexico or take myself off to Sweden in late August. I have , I think, maybe, nearly, almost made up my mind! Currently Sweden is on the tippet and Mexico in the fly box for next year, going on a hosted trip seen in FF&FT. See www.gofishingworldwide.co.uk/hosted_sweden and www.rajamaa.com/eng/fish.htm . For £1560 for the three F's (flights, food and fishing) this looks good value. Has anyone any direct experience, secondhand accounts etc either of Lappland fishing or of hosted trips in general that I may use to further extend my period of uncertainty- I 've gort an option on a place but I gather they're not full up yet? Paul, opt for Sweden as it is a different destination, you know the country well and if within 6 months thereafter you get the urge for another overseas trip you can do Ascension again. You only live once....go for it!
