Hi all, i managed to get hold of a new type of strike indicator whilst I was recently on a trip to the US, they are made by a company called Ghost Tech. I've used one recently and I have to say i'm really impressed by it, it's easy to cast with, very buoyant and doesn't make a splash when it lands. More info can be found at the link below but, unfortunately, at the moment postage costs from the US are really expensive so, i'm wondering if a few members may wish to place a large order, in order to bring the relative postage costs down (we share the pain!). If you think you'd like to order some then please let me know on this post. Ghost Tech Strike Indicators

I'll stick with the NZ Strike Indicator, no splash, easy to move up and down the line, pick a colour to suit the day, easy to change colour as conditions change, just adjust the size to suit the weight of the nymph and as it's sheeps wool it's natural, only down side is fish sometimes rise to it, just come back later with a dry fly ;-).

I cut egg shaped bits of ethofoam, then cut a slit down them and fix them on with a bit of bait elastic. Work a treat, stay put but can be moved and easy to remove.
