After getting home from fishing the Blackbrook yesterday I developed a rash over the back of one of my hands which at first I thought was sunburn. However it is slightly blistered today and I remember brushing it through a tall bank side plant like cow parsley in which my fly was caught. I suspect that it was in fact a hogweed so beware if you’re fishing up there. Is there any authority who I should inform?

John, you could try contacting the Dartmoor National Park Authority.
Email: hq@dartmoor.gov.uk Phone: 01626 832093
Hogweed is nasty.
Cheers.

Good idea Ray, thank you; I have since heard back from James at the West Country Rivers Trust who said that he would look into it.
