Any good hatches about anywhere at the moment. I've seen a few down on the lower Frome but we never get many down there anyway. Taw, Creedy, Tone or anywhere else???

Monday was one of the best mayfly hatches I have ever seen down here. Smaller fish taking them first and the bigger ones as the afternoon went on. There was more again today but the wind took the edge of it a bit. Grey Wulff has worked best with the hackle clipped just a little bit shorter. Hoping for wind to drop and more tomorrow!
Spoke to Mike W earlier and hes had good sport on some of the CFFC water and down in Cornwall too.

Thursday was another stunning hatch with fish slashing at flies and hitting them hard. Today was a lot quieter but we still picked up a few with detached body patterns.

Was working on the Taw y'day and still a few Mays about. The water was falling all the time and the colour coming out but we fished in slacker, slower water with Yellow Stimulators and had fish up to 13 inches.
