Thought I might as well create a CFFC 2024 thread for what it's worth.... First trip out the other day on 3 horseshoes, virtually no fly life and no rises but the nymph brought a few including one with a rosy hue to it's tail that I can't recall seeing before...

I tried the Yeo ar Dunscombe on Sunday, great to be back out finally. A few fish on nymph but I did see one fish rise but failed to tempt it. Only rose a couple of times but nice to see. A few hawthorn flies about so I tried hawthorn and ldo on it but put it down. Some big old trees down on this section after all the storms and a number of pools have changed. More rain for the weekend by the looks of it ahh the joys of the British weather.

Enjoyed for video Chris, good to have you back. I ventured out on the main Dart on Monday and was surprised to see the level down and super clear. As I haven’t fished the main river for over twenty years I’d forgotten how big the river is. I’m afraid no fish so far and I have much to learn again. Maybe a trip to the Duchy soon providing we don’t have too much bloody rain.

Hello all,
I've recently moved to Somerset from Wiltshire and have applied to join CFFC. The River Culm fishery is the closest to me so I expect it's what I'll fish most often. I was wondering whether anyone might be kind enough to show me around at some point?
Kind regards, Tom
