I fished with my good friend jamiet on the Tffc water and had a nice time.

Not much was rising and the water was clear but we fished on.

We both lost good fish in one pool with one trout jumping 3ft to take the dry.

Jamie then hooked his fish of the seaon on the Culm.

It was a chunky fish some 15" long with a tail like a shovel.

I had a couple of smaller brownies and a couple of chub.

I hen snapped up and went on the back to spot rises for j as the light failed.

He added two more nice 12"+ brownies before it was totally dark.

A superb night.

I think you will find that is Taunton Fly Fishing Club, home to some of Somerset's finest anglers, and Toby
