I was lucky enough to be shown the new Richard Wheatley "Graf Ex" fly box to celebrate the Company's 150th Anniversary on Tuesday. It is stunning with a anodised picture of a rising brown trout. The picture being anodised into the metal is not likely to scratch. I was told that the first batch is already sold out and a second batch will not be available until the beginning of March. This has to be my birthday present to my self. What are you giving yourself this year? If you want to see the box go to www.richardwheatley.co.uk

A floating line that floated would be nice.

Ah, all is revealed. Your floating problem is due to using an almost brand new line- lijke wine they improve with maturity and also develop those delightful little permanent kinks that are so useful as bite indicators!
