Hi, I fished the Upper Teign yesterday at Fingle Bridge. As you can tell it was a tad windy to say the least. Apart from the wind the conditions were good with the water at a good height. Nothing but the odd LDO and midge hatching and not a single rise seen. I finished the day somewhere around 15-20 trout with best nudging 1lb 1/2 . All fish caught on either black/silver/copper tungsten bead PTN's.
The wading on this stretch can be quite interesting to say the least...

Was having an email conversation with Mike Weaver and he said he had his first outing on the Tiegn yesterday for a couple of hours. He had them up to 13inches and hooked a big fish he thought was possibly a sea trout on a stimulator and then a trout took the nymph he was using as part of the duo set up. Sadly the big one came off.
