Last time I was out here Nigel mentioned the bottom might be further down than I thought. Might have just been a misunderstanding on my part. I thought it stopped pretty much by the lower iron girder bridge below the rickety old livestock bridge. I did notice however on the left hand bank at the bottom that there was some plastic tubing over the barbwire fence to the fields below. I'm sure my version is correct when comparing the beat map with an aerial photo but would be glad if someone could clarify.
Thanks all.

You'll be excited to know that you probably have about another three quarters of a mile fishing on the Culm courtesy of a very benevolent landowner. The club waters extend below the girder bridge I think you are talking about to approximately where the high voltage pylons cross the river.Right bank only looking downstream.Be aware that on this stretch you may come across other anglers who might not be fly fishing but are also entitled to fish here,as said landowner allows some of his staff to fish.Personally,I've never seen anyone.

That is exciting Thanks for the info Very nice of the landowner. Does anyone have a map? I get a bit nervous wandering around strange fields without really knowing if I'm out of bounds.
