Thanks Pete for allowing Kennick to have a board on the Devon Rivers Forum pages.
It should be good for everyone to share information, events, caught a large fish etc.
To join the Kennick Fly Fishers Association is easy - contact Mike Phillips, Hon Treasurer - 01803 312547 or email mike.phillips@mac.com
We have a membership of 130 and have an active group that take part in the Competitions during the season. We meet approx twice per month during the season, fishing Kennick, Wimbleball, Siblyback, Clatworthy, Burrator and Chew Valley.
As the season comes to an end we are now looking at our Winter Programme which features a trip to the Fly Tying Fair in Stoke on Nov 2nd - have 2 spaces left if anyone is interested - cost £20 includes ticket and transport.
We have a Fly Tying programme on 6 nights through the winter, more details to follow on this.
If interested in joining the club, drop me an email or contact Mike Phillips. Cost is £12.

Hi John,
I have a soft spot for Kennick, have fished it for nigh on 30 years although not this year though. Seem to have lost interest in rainbows. Mind you with the "proper" season now at and end will try to get up there this coming weekend. What's it fishing like at the moment?

Hi Terry,
With the season extension until the end of November there are still fish to be caught, fish were close in last weekend.
Best areas were from Clampitts back towards the Dam end.
Definitely worth a trip, you can see the new Lodge which is almost finished.
As more Kennick Members start using this site you should see regular updates of how its fishing and where to go.
Let me know how you get on?
John
