Amongst the things that I hope to do this winter is a bit of grayling fishing, fits in after the bank work and fishing hut maintenance. I fish the mid section of the river and am just inquiring how the grayling fishing has been this year. Those that have tried on the beat that I fish have failed to find one so far this season. So what about the rest of the river

No.... haven't done any bank work either. Still have to do it before the season starts!! Nothing has been caught from the beat by those who have used it, I guess that as it has been cold and dry for a couple of weeks now and the fish have found the deepest holes. Maybe good fishing if you can find a shoal in one of the smaller holes.

Can anyone tell where, how, and cost for Grayling fishing on the Exe. I keep hearing about the possibilities but am told they are few and far between and only in limited areas.
Thanks for any Info, Sandy.
