Welcome Jon, I'm in Exmouth so if you fancy sharing a car from time to time give me a shout. I'm also starting my first season on rivers and have just started tying flies.

Hi Jon,
Welcome to the forum and to the Crediton club.
As Pete says, it is a very friendly club, but it ahas so much water that, when the season starts, you rarely see another member..
My incompetence is such that I cannot offer you any great insight into fishing our waters, but if you want company, happy to share a session with you!
Cheers, Paul

I've bitten the bullet and also applied to join CFFC, it seems that it would be a bit silly not to really.

Hi my name is Kim I have been a member of the Dart AA since 1979. I fish on reservoirs, rivers and at sea both shore and boat. I travel every year to Scotland to fish the river lochy and the river Dee for salmon, this year I am off to Norway as well.
i fish for mainly salmon and seatrout in the rivers, I learnt my skills on the river dart on Dartmoor when the local Bobby from prince town took me under his wing and taught me to tie flies etc. i have fished competitively for many years before returning to pleasure angling.

Hi Kim, welcome. I reckon we met a few years back at Caddaford during my brief stint as ST member on the DAA. I just fish on the Teign now but like you travel up to Scotland once or twice a year. Good luck this season. Rob

It was only a question of time, getting all fired up now the season is about to start. Booked my tickets for Norway and paid deposits for Scotland. Arranged a t or wine stop at dartmeet for those long days on the moor
