Enjoyed the salmon road trip article Pete. Good company and sharing the experience of others fortune and misfortune makes a trip like that so much more memorable. As to the river in question, its had a good season I see. Not fished that far upstream before. It looks good.

Hi Rob, yes, the Wye has fished well. We happened to just hit it right which was about as perfect as it gets.

Hi Colin, I'd love to tell you the name but I haven't a clue, my pals booked it. It was about 10 mins downstream from Builth and not far from Gromain.

The beat gets a mention in the latest T&S. So, if I am not mistaken thats both Mrs and Mr T in the photo-catch section this year. Thats impressive!

And so you should be proud Pete. A fantastic job over five years, I've enjoyed everyone but still can't believe where those five years have gone. Many congratulations and please please keep up the good work. Well done, Terry

Hi everyone, I've been working on and just published the latest edition of ESF. I was writing the intro when I posted the video yesterday. The thread really inspired me! eat-sleep-fish.co.uk/

Here's the latest edition hot from the press. A nice Devon feel with a piece from Boisker and also the front cover has a pic of someone fishing the junction pool of the Little Dart and Taw eat-sleep-fish.co.uk/

Great effort as always Pete.
Really like your summer time fishing article.... I completely agree about the low water conditions and it's why I've hardly posted recently.... I think I have fished once in the last 3 weeks. Can't say I enjoyed it that much, in many of the usual water and runs it was pointless even wetting the line... and where it was better I only half heartedly fished through as I felt a bit guilty. A bit of rain today, but not enough.... we need a wet 10 days or so.
