Boisker, I enjoyed your article on the Monnow. It's a river that has been on my wish list for a while now.

Nice Pete, interesting to see Bristol on there but now I'm intrigued! Was it urban? Near the M32, free? Am i getting close?
Loving the clearwater and definitely be getting one, need to arrange a time to give yours back and maybe share a session? I've been going after the course fish and had perch and chub to 3 1/2lbs so far. nowhere that near that I can try for those sea trout unfortunately, just pretending rainbows are migratory at the moment...

Hi Toby, It's a club water but not the place you might be thinking of.
It must be fun going for the coarse fish and you could pretend the rainbows are steelhead!

Hey Pete... some great articles, ideal timing as I'm sat in a car park rather earlier than needed waiting for meetings to start. The X sounds very interesting, i'd be keen to have a cast when we next meet up as I quite like the sound of the 7'6" 3w... probably another 12 months before I can consider a new rod... could be a tough call... another radian or the X.... choices choices😆

Both good rods bud don't think you'll go wrong with either. Lovely problem to have! I also bought the X double hander too and that is a real star.

Oh.. don't mention double handers.... if I actually make it salmon fishing with friends in Scotland next year I see a whole new run of expenses on the horizon🙄

It's a slippery but enjoyable slope to slide down!
